The planting season is fast approaching and we have some great news to share with you! 📣 Many hectares are already planted and everything is going wonderfully. 🚜🌱 We have high expectations for the 2025 harvest, which promises to be busy and full of success! 🎉💪

We just need a little rain to give our young potato plants a boost 🌧️. Fingers crossed that Mother Nature will be on our side in the coming days 🤞.

You probably remember last year , a little more complicated with the shortage of plants ... Our farmers had to adapt by planting other varieties than usual. This year, it's something completely different! 🎉 They planted mainly Fontane and Challenger varieties, classics that we have been carefully processing for years. These potatoes are well known for their quality , and we are sure that they will do wonders for our products! 🥔

So we're getting ready for a crazy harvest, full of success and... fries galore ! 🍟✨

Here we are: the first three trucks 🚚 of destocking have been sent to Péronne! Starting this Thursday 02/13/2025, we are shipping pallets of finished products 🍟 to Péronne! It is obviously not over: this Monday 02/17, our very first customer order will be loaded in Péronne. What progress, isn't it? But let's not give up, there is still a lot of work to do in Péronne with packaging, production, reception, etc. but don't panic as they say, it will be fine! 💪💪

🥔 Explanation of dry matter and weight under water! 🌟

Each batch of potatoes is tested for density and dry matter content using a starch tester. On average, our potatoes have 21% dry matter, but our goal is 29-30% to ensure crispy, less greasy fries.

📉 So we adjust the water content to achieve this superior quality. Every fry you enjoy is the result of strict standards and constant innovation!

The answer is simple: the potato is the Belgian product par excellence!

🇧🇪 Founded by descendants of passionate farmers, our company perpetuates the family tradition and know-how . 👨‍🌾
